Denim Carols of Christmas

July 18, 2017

Today’s card is a bit of a sneak peek. Really quick and easy to make, it still packs a punch, due to the rich mixture of Dapper Denim and Gold Foil.

It uses the Carols of Christmas stamp set shown in full below. This set is currently a special bonus stamp set added to the starter kit for anyone joining SU! in July (along with a bonus Essentials Gift Pack too!) – you can find more details here.

If you don’t fancy joining SU! this month, then you’ll be able to buy this stamp set (and/or matching dies in a bundle) in August … and you can use any Bonus Days coupons you’ve qualified for, for money off your purchase.

The sentiments in the set are in beautiful fonts and large enough to create a focal point all on their own.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Dapper Denim, matted with Eastern Palace Specialty DSP. Using Dapper Denim ink the Peace on Earth sentiment from the Carols of Christmas set was stamped onto Very Vanilla card and die cut out with one of the Stitched Shapes circles. Wavy flourishes were stamped above and below the sentiment with the same ink. This piece was adhered direct to a scalloped Layering Circle die cut from Gold Foil and both were popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Very Vanilla insert, mini baubles from the Carols of Christmas set were stamped with Dapper Denim ink. A sentiment from the Oh, What Fun set was added in the same ink.

I’ll be back with more samples from the Carols of Christmas set when it’s available to everyone in August but if you’d like to get your hands on it before then by signing up, then please get in touch.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
