Merry Little Labelled Snowflake

September 15, 2017

I hope that you enjoyed our little Blog Hop spotlighting new products from the Autumn/Winter catalogue. Today I’m back to creating a Christmas card – always good to keep adding one or two a week so that it’s not such a big task in November.

This one has plenty of glamour and glitz but with the exception of heat embossing, it isn’t too technical. You could always stamp the main image on the from in black if heat embossing isn’t your thing.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Smoky Slate, matted with Year of Cheer Specialty DSP. A silver Foil Snowflake was adhered direct to the upper card front. Using Versamark ink, a sentiment from Merry Little Labels was stamped onto Whisper White card, heat embossed with Silver EP and die cut out with a Layering Oval. This was adhered direct to a slightly larger Layering Oval die cut from Gold Foil and popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Basic Black ink.

The Foil Snowflakes contain 12 Silver and 12 Gold snowflakes so you could switch the Gold and Silver around if you decide to do a batch of these.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
