Painted Harvest gift box

September 24, 2017

After buying some tasty handmade chocolates as a gift for a friend (well, I had to buy a few extra to test that they were tasty, lol) I wanted a little gift box for packaging them, instead of the bag used by the shop. The new Mini Pizza Box fit the bill perfectly.

Before assembling the box, the sides of the base and the top of the lid were covered with Painted Autumn DSP. The sides of the lid were  stamped with a sentiment from Labels to Love in Cajun Craze ink. A Stitched Shapes circle was die cut from Soft sky card and layered onto a Layering Circle die cut from Cajun Craze card. These were popped up on the box lid with dimensionals. The Painted Harvest flower was stamped onto Whisper White card with Peekaboo Peach ink for the base flower, Cajun Craze ink for the shadowed flower layer and Daffodil Delight for the flower centre. This was then fussy cut out. The solid trio of leaves was stamped onto Whisper White card twice with Lemon Lime ink and then both were overstamped with the detailed leaf trio using Garden Green ink before punching out with the Leaf punch. The leaves were adhered behind the flower before popping it up in the centre of the circles with the dimensionals.

For tips on using the Mini Pizza Boxes, please consider following me on Facebook where I share very quick extra tips that don’t make it to this blog.

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
