20 days of paper projects – day 1

October 12, 2017

Over the next 20 days I’m sharing a series of projects using patterned paper (also known as Designer Series Paper or DSP for short). Some of the projects will use scraps and others will use larger pieces. Did you know we have a Designer Series Paper Sale at the moment so you can stock up for less.

Today’s project is a Christmas version of a design I previously used for a birthday card. A stack of gifts works for birthdays and Christmas 🙂

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black matted with Real Red card. Three rectangular scraps of Christmas Around the World DSP were adhered direct to a card front panel of Whisper White. These can be any decreasing set of sizes that fit well on the card front. A sentiment from Star of Light was stamped beneath the paper stack with Basic Black ink. Tear and Tape was used to adhere Quilted Christmas 1/4″ Ribbon vertically across the stack and then a bow of the same ribbon was adhered at the top with a Mini Glue Dot.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Star of Light was stamped in Basic Black and a strip of DSP adhered across the bottom.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
