20 days of paper projects – day 6

October 17, 2017

It’s Day 6 of our 20 day series of projects using patterned paper (also known as Designer Series Paper or DSP for short). One of our earlier articles covered fussy cutting images from paper. Today we’re die cutting images from paper.

Those little coffee cups on the card front are die cut direct from the Coffee Cafe DSP. This makes creating a card quick and easy.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Garden Green. A card front layer of Coffee Break DSP was cut horizontally around a third of the way down and one side flipped over before adhering both pieces direct to the card front. A narrow strip of Soft Sky was adhered to a slightly wider one of Garden Green and then this was adhered over the join on the DSP. A sentiment from the Coffee Cafe set was stamped onto Whisper White card using Early Espresso ink and then die cut out with the co-ordinating Coffee Cup Framelit before popping up on the card front with a dimensional. Using another of the Coffee Cups Framelits, two mini coffee cups were die cut from one of the patterns of Coffee Break DSP. These were also popped up with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Coffee Cafe was stamped with Early Espresso ink.

Our Buy 3, Get 1 Free Designer Series Paper Sale is still running if you’d like to stock up.
