20 days of paper projects – day 11

October 22, 2017

Day 11 of our 20 day series of projects using patterned paper (also known as Designer Series Paper or DSP for short). Today we’re using paper to hide a little gift in one of our Treat Tubes.

A 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whole Lot of Lovely DSP was rolled and inserted into a Treat Tube. Once inside, the paper spreads to the edges of the tube.

A £20 note was rolled a little tighter and slipped inside the Tube and the cork popped in place.

Using Pear Pizzazz ink, the frame from the Labels to Love set was stamped onto Whisper White card. Masking the lower part of the stamp,  just the “Happy” from the Happy Christmas stamp in the set was inked with Tangerine Tango and stamped within the frame. Tangerine Tango ink was also used to stamp the “birthday” and “celebrate” sentiments from the Thoughtful Banners set before punching out with the Everyday Label.  A “To/From” sentiment was stamped on the reverse of the tag with more Tangerine Tango ink. Very Vanilla Lace Trim was threaded through the tag and then both ends pulled tight against the Tube before tying in a bow.

Thanks for stopping by.
