Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

20 days of paper projects – day 18

October 29, 2017

It’s Day 18 of our 20 day series of projects using patterned paper (also known as Designer Series Paper or DSP for short). Today we’re using up scraps to create a patchwork background on a card.

Hope you’re enjoying the extra hour today and get chance to use it for some extra crafting time 🙂

The card base is a 4″ x 4″ square of Calypso Coral. Using the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes framelits, a variety of different patterns were die cut from scraps of Petal Garden DSP. These were adhered direct to a 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ square of Whisper White and then direct to the card front. Using Old Olive ink, a sentiment from Christmas Quilt was stamped onto a narrow strip of Whisper White card. The ends of the strip were punched with the centre portion of the Everyday Label before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, Calypso Coral ink was used to stamp a sentiment from Beautiful You.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
