20 days of paper projects – day 19

October 30, 2017

Today is Day 19 of our 20 day series of projects using patterned paper (also known as Designer Series Paper or DSP for short). This time we’re selecting a paler shade and pattern and stamping direct over the top of it.

Tomorrow will be the last day to get hold of our exclusive Merry Patterns set for free AND/OR to Buy Three, Get One Free on our DSP. Don’t miss out!

The card base is an A6 portrait of Old Olive. A mat of Color Theory DSP was wrapped at one edge with Quilted Christmas Ribbon before adhering it direct to the front of the card and then a smaller piece of the same ribbon was tied on in a knot. Using Always Artichoke ink, the outline deer from the Merry Patterns set was stamped direct to a paler pattern of Color Theory DSP and then the Christmas jumper solid deer was stamped over the top in Old Olive ink. This was matted onto a panel of Old Olive card before popping up on the card front with dimensionals. A sentiment from the same set was stamped onto the same pattern of Color Theory DSP with Always Artichoke ink and similarly matted and popped up on the card front.

On the Whisper White insert, the outline sentiment and the tag on phrase were both stamped in Always Artichoke ink and the fill-in sentiment stamped over the top in Old Olive ink.

Thanks for stopping by.
