Stitched Felt Tree Christmas Card

November 29, 2017

Okay, hands up – who else buys embellishments and then hoards them? Surely not just me?

This year I’m making a determined effort to use up all my Stitched Felt Embellishments before Christmas 😀

And at the same time I’m using up some of the other supplies from the Autumn/Winter catalogue that may not carry forward.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Garden Green, matted with Quilted Christmas DSP. A panel of Whisper White card was stamped with a sentiment from Merry Mistletoe in Real Red ink and then it was wrapped with Quilted Christmas 1/4″ Ribbon and another piece of it tied on in a knot, before adhering it direct to the card front. A tree from the Merry Mistletoe set was stamped twice in Garden Green ink, at different heights, onto a Layering Oval die cut from Whisper White card.  This was matted onto a Layering Oval die cut from Real Red card and then both were popped up on the card front with dimensionals. To finish, a Stitched Felt Tree was added with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a Star Element was added with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the same Merry Mistletoe set was stamped in Real Red ink and then the bough and the tree added with Garden Green ink.

And I used the other trees in the pack, with other Garden Green patterns of DSP to make a small batch of cards of the same design.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
