Year end sale – not just for Christmas

December 7, 2017

The Year End Sale isn’t all about Christmas products (although it is heavily geared that way 🙂 ). One of the non-christmas bargains is the Eclectic Layers thinlits dies. Reduced from £27 to £21.60!

Spoiler Alert!!

We used the on sale thinlits to make this birthday card but we also brought in one of the new stamp sets from the upcoming Spring/Summer collection, Petal Palette, for the sentiments and the inside of the card.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Rose Red. A card front layer of Whole Lot of Lovely DSP was cut horizontally approx. 3/4 of the way across and the cut edges folded back and secured with dimensionals. Using Rose Red ink, a sentiment from Petal Palette was stamped onto a card front layer of Whisper White card (in the area that the paper will reveal). The paper layer was adhered direct to the stamped layer and then direct to the card front. Leaves were die cut out of Pear Pizzazz card with the Eclectic Layers framelits. A base flower was die cut from Powder Pink card. A detailed flower was die cut from Rose Red card and adhered over the top of the Pink flower. The leaves were adhered direct to the back of the flower before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. A Clear Faceted Gem was used to finish the flower.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the new set was stamped in Rose Red ink. Leaves from the same set were stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink and a strip of paper to match the front of the card was adhered below.

Check out what else is discounted in our Year End Sale here.

Thanks for stopping by.
