A Perennial birthday card Painted With love

February 1, 2018

Just to show that our Painted With Love Specialty DSP isn’t only for Valentine projects, I’ve used it here to create a birthday card.

Two different papers from the pack were used and the colour combo was taken from the paper: Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coral and Gold.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Rich Razzleberry matted with Painted With Love Specialty DSP. A sentiment and a flower from the Perennial Birthday set were stamped onto Whisper White card with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold EP. The flowers and leaves were coloured with Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coral and Powder Pink markers before die cutting the images out with the Stitched Shapes framelits. A smaller framelit from the same set was used to die cut two squares from another pattern of the Painted With Love Specialty DSP. All were matted onto Gold Foil before they were popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment and some of the smaller flowers from the same stamp set were stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink. A strip of the paper left over from the front of the card was adhered below the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
