Shimmer Ribbon birthday card

February 4, 2018

Back again with another card using a Sale-a-bration freebie. This is the Shimmer Ribbon Pack, free with a £45 purchase.

The pack contains three different ribbons – different colours and different widths. This card uses all three of them.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Calypso Coral, matted with Basic Gray card and Painted With Love Specialty DSP. Tear and Tape was applied along both long edges of a panel of Very Vanilla card and pieces of all three of the ribbons from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack were wrapped around at differing angles and fastened against the Tear and Tape. This panel was matted onto Basic Gray card. A sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday set was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla card with Basic Gray ink and punched out with the Tailored Tag. The short ends of the tag were each trimmed a little and the stamped tag was matted onto a full tag punched from Basic Gray card. This matted tag was adhered behind the ribbon panel and then all were popped up on the card front with dimensionals. Some Basic Pearls were added between the ribbons to finish.

On the Very Vanilla insert, another sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday set was stamped in Basic Gray ink. The party blower was stamped in Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral inks. A narrow strip of the same DSP from the front of the card was adhered down the side to finish.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
