Santa’s Signpost die cut Christmas card

September 15, 2018

I’m still playing with the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP and today I’ve cut into the flocked pieces! Part of my plan to use my DSP this year instead of just stroking it, lol.

The Santa’s Signpost framelit dies don’t just die cut shapes from the Signs of Santa stamp set but also the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP. Easy peasy!

The colour combo is inspired by Santa 🙂 and is Poppy Parade, Basic Black and Whisper White.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Poppy Parade, matted with Basic Black card. A card front layer of Whisper White was stamped near the top with a sentiment from Signs of Santa in Memento Black and strips of Poppy Parade and Basic Black card were adhered along the base. Using Memento Black ink again a sentiment from Merry Christmas To All was stamped over the Poppy Parade strip. Santa’s Signpost framelits were used to die cut out Santa and the elf dressed in red, from the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP. They were then popped up on dimensionals on the card front. A rectangle of the stripy flocked Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP was added with dimensionals to create a large “gift” and a Santa’s Workshop Enamel Shape bow added on a sliver of dimensional to complete the image.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Merry Christmas To All was stamped in Memento Black ink and a skinny strip of more Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP added to the right side for decorative edging.

Don’t forget that you save 10% by buying the Signs of Santa stamp set and Santa’s Signpost framelit dies together as a bundle 🙂

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.
