Simply stamped colour chopped Christmas card

December 11, 2018

Yesterday I shared my “colour chopping” technique and today I’m back to show you a very simple stamped Christmas card that uses the colour chopped pieces that I created.

This is a straightforward card, ideal for a new stamper (or maybe a friend that you’re just introducing to stamping), great for mass producing quickly (flat for minimum postage) or it could be stepped up quite easily 😉

The colour combo is Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist, with just a little Shaded Spruce.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Granny Apple Green. A sentiment from Merry Christmas To All was stamped towards the base of a card front layer of Whisper White with Shaded Spruce ink. The panel of colour chopped greens (Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive) from my technique post were all stamped with the same sentiment from the Merry Christmas To All set using more Shaded Spruce ink. These were adhered direct, above the stamped card front layer and then the layer was adhered direct to the card front.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment and a flourish from the same stamp set were stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
