Project Life – now bundled with 15% off

love story close up

We’ve been carrying Project Life by Stampin’ Up! collections for quite a while now, but this year’s new catty is the first time we’ve been able to introduce Project Life bundles, combining the Card Collection and the Accessory Pack – and saving you 15% in the process!

We have some wonderful new collections including fab Baby Boy (Lost Lagoon) and Baby Girl (Blushing Bride) bundles, but my personal favourite is still Love Story, a previous collection which has carried forward.

This collection uses Basic Black, Basic Gray, silver and white and so you only need to add a pop of a bright colour – you can’t go wrong. And it’s just perfect for quick and easy cards as well as memory keeping pages.

love story

The card base is an A6 portrait of Watermelon Wonder, matted with Smoky Slate. A small card from the Love Story Card Collection* was matted onto more Watermelon Wonder card and stamped with a sentiment from Friendly Wishes in Watermelon Wonder ink. Using Watermelon Wonder ink, a flower from Flower Shop** was stamped onto Whisper White card, punched out with the Pansy** and layered onto another Pansy punched from Smoky Slate card. Sequins and a silver heart from the Love Story Accessory Pack* were added for a bit of bling. A small gray and white arrow from the Accessory Pack was coloured with a Watermelon Wonder marker and then popped up on dimensionals.

*  Buy the Love Story Card Collection and Accessory Pack as a bundle and save 15%

**  Buy the Flower Shop stamp set and Pansy punch as bundle (Wood or Clear) and save 15%

On the Whisper White insert a few flowers from Friendly Wishes and a sentiment from Sassy Salutations were stamped in Watermelon Wonder ink.

Even if you don’t want to get into memory keeping/scrapbooking, it’s well worth checking out these Project Life bundles for your card making!

Both our Memory Keeping introductory event and our December Wrap, Tag and Trim class are a fortnight today. Come along to one, or to both.

SATURDAY 13 December 2014, 12.15PM – 1.15PM

Do you have pictures sitting on your computer, on your phone, or piled in boxes? Are you tired of traditional scrapbooking, or don’t have the time to do it?

I have fallen in love with a new system called Project Life that takes the time, money and stress out of memory keeping! It’s all about living your life, and documenting it for your family in a quick, simple, easy and affordable way!

It takes much less time and effort than traditional scrapbooking, and focuses more on living your life and preserving your priceless memories for your children and grandchildren. You don’t need any crafting ability, just the desire to preserve your precious memories for your family!

I know we’re all busy, and have so much taking up our time, but I would LOVE for you to join me in having some fun together, along with learning about something that is good for your family too!

Come along for FREE and see first hand what I’m talking about, and learn a fun, easy system to capture your family’s memories forever! Plus you’ll make a cute project to take home with you!

Location: St Saviour’s Church Hall, Mortomley Lane, High Green, Sheffield

There’s no charge for this introductory event but I do need to know who is coming so that I know how many make and take projects to have ready. Please RSVP by emailing me at or text me at 0775 1133886.

Everyday Adventure Congrats card

everyday adventure close up

I’ve been busy working with Project Life (I’m getting addicted 🙂 ) ahead of a free event I’m hosting in December. It’s so easy to arrange your photos with the PL system and the card collections can not only be used for journalling but also for card crafting.

Here I used two of the cards in the Everyday Adventure collection to make a Congratulations card.

everyday adventure

Two cards were selected from the Project Life Everyday Adventure card collection, a 4″ x 6″ and and 4″ x 3″. One was matted onto the other. A sentiment from Bravo was stamped into the title space in Bermuda Bay ink. Organza Ribbon was wrapped around the layers. Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon was tied into a bow and wrapped around above and below the Organza. All were adhered direct to the front of a card base of Strawberry Slush. A tiny bow of Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon was added to the centre of the Organza Ribbon with a mini glue dot.

On the inside another sentiment from the Bravo set was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.

I hope that you will come along and join us at our FREE Project Life Introductory event on 13 December. Why not make an afternoon of it and book and stay for our Wrap, Tag & Trim Class straight after 🙂

Project Life meets Wondrous Wreath

PL wreath close up
When I got the Wondrous Wreath stamp set, I thought what a wonderful frame it would make and how well the sentiments would work as journalling notes.

So today I’m combining it with a Project Life card to make an insert for one of my pages.

Project Life wondrous wreath

I selected one of the Project Life Everyday Adventure cards, chosen for its circular journalling area and adhered a photo of DH in the centre. The base wreath from the Wondrous Wreath photopolymer set* was stampeding Pear Pizzazz ink onto Whisper White card, then the leaves and berries were overstamped with Old Olive and Strawberry Slush inks before die cutting out with the matching Wonderful Wreath framelits*. Sentiments from the same set were selectively inked with a Strawberry Slush marker, stamped onto Whisper White card and punched out with the Word Window. The wreath and sentiments were popped up on dimensionals on the card.

* Buy the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching framelits as a Wondrous Wreath photopolymer bundle and save 15%.

I think this combo works for any time of year, not just Christmas. What do you think?
