Today is my and my hubby’s 9th wedding anniversary and the card I made for him gives a little sneak peek of one of the new stamp sets coming out on Saturday.
The gemstone for a 9th wedding anniversary is Lapis Lazuli – I figured that Pacific Point was probably the closest colour match.
Recipe
Stamp sets: Â Something to Celebrate (W121897 or C121955), Sneak Peek
Cardstock: Pacific Point (116202), Whisper White (106549)
Ink: Pacific Point (111837), Versamark (102283)
Punches: Modern Label (119849), 1-3/4″ Circle (119850)
Other: White EP (109132)
Tools: Embossing Buddy (103083), Heat Tool (110197)
The card blank is an A5 gatefold of Pacific Point. Panels of Whisper White card were stamped with the new stamp set using Pacific Point ink and adhered direct to the car front. One of the designs was stamped twice onto Pacific Point card (swept first with the Embossing Buddy) using Versamark ink and heat embossed with White EP. These were punched out with the 1-3/4 Circle and popped up on dimensionals on opposite sides of the gatefold opening. The sentiment was stamped out separately on Pacific Point card with Versamark and heat embossed with White EP as before, then punched out with the Modern Label. The sentiment was also popped up on dimensionals on opposite sides of the gatefold.
Tomorrow I’ll share hubby’s card to me đŸ™‚
