Hi there and thank you to everyone that visited us at the craft fair yesterday. We had a great time but boy was I shattered by the end of it.

I figured I might be a bit tired today so I’d booked the day off work and I’ve been having a play with my new goodies. I’ll have plenty to share with you over the next few days.

Week 3 of the 12 weeks of Christmas will go out to all subscribers on Wednesday evening so if you signed up late on or after last Wednesday you’ll be getting your first project soon. If you haven’t subscribed yet, then you can do so now and still be in time for this week’s project – just complete the “Sign up for my Newsletter” box top right.

Now on to today’s card.

Halloween card using the owl punch

Recipe
Stamp set: Tiny Tags (W118091 or C118592)
Cardstock: Basic Black (121688), Real Red (106578), Whisper White (106549)
Ink: Basic Black (101179), Basic Gray (109120), White Signo Gel Pen (105021)
DSP: Frightful Sight (122351)
Punches: Owl Builder (118074), Scallop Circle (119854), 1-3/4″ Circle (119850)
Tools: Sponge Dauber (102892)

A card blank of Basic Black was matted with Frightful Sight bat paper that had been sponged around the edges with Basic Gray ink. A mat of Real Red card was also sponged around the edges with more Basic Gray ink and the Boo sentiment was repeatedly stamped with Basic Black ink in the lower right corner of the panel. This was adhered direct across the upper part of the card front. A “Dracula” owl was popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a quick tutorial on how to turn your owl into Dracula.

Sara xx
