Are you ready for the trick or treaters? I’ve got a little pumpkin costume for Bess and we’ve got all the treats in a cauldron. I can’t wait to see some of the little one’s costumes.
Anyhow, as I figured out that this is the last day of the month , I thought I ought to share with you the design I used for my thank you cards this month.
Recipe
Stamp set: Posy Punch (W122480 or C 122482) (hostess set), Tiny Tags (W118091 or C118592)
Cardstock: Melon Mambo (119980), Elegant Eggplant (108614), Old Olive (106576), Very Vanilla (106550)
Ink: Elegant Eggplant (105210)
DSP: First Edition Specialty (121878)
Punches: Fancy Flower (118073), Jewelry Tag (117190), Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (119275), 1/16″ Circle (101227)
Other: Mini Brads (122941)
Tools: Mat Pack (105826), Paper-Piercing Tool (116631)
A small square Melon Mambo card blank was matted with some of the First Edition DSP. The text flower from the Posy Punch hostess set was stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink onto Very Vanilla card and punched out with the Fancy Flower. “Leaves” were double punched from Old Olive card using the tip I shared here and then the leaves and flower were popped up on dimensionals on the card front. A strip of Melon Mambo card was matted with a Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punched from Elegant Eggplant card. The thank you sentiment from the Tiny Tags set was stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink onto Very Vanilla card and punched out with the Jewelry Tag. This was matted at an angle onto a Jewelry Tag punched from Elegant Eggplant card and secured to the layered strip with a Mini Brad before adhering direct to the card front.
Here’s how one of the batches turned out.
Please stop by again tomorrow to find out what the November Stampin’ Up! offer is.
