For our last valentine’s day project, I’m sharing a little duo that I demonstrated at a recent workshop. This doesn’t use any specific valentine greeting for the card and has a non-traditional colour combo – so it’s perfect for those fellas that think Valentine’s Day is too much schmaltz 

The card is also super quick and easy (well you need it for tomorrow after all).

Ink: Lucky Limeade (122935)
DSP: Everyday Enchantment (126154)
Punches: Scallop Square (119884), Postage Stamp (122344), Small Heart (117193)

The small square card base is Pool Party. Four Scallop Squares were punched from different pieces of Everyday Enchantment DSP and adhered direct to the card front. The small heart from the Perfect Postage set was stamped in Lucky Limeade onto Whisper White card and punched out with the Postage Stamp. This was adhered direct to a Scallop Square punched from Lucky Limeade. A Small Heart was punched from Calypso Coral card and popped up in the centre of the layers with a sliver of dimensional before popping the whole postage stamp up on dimensionals on the card front.

The design came from my upline and friend Joanne who gave me a more elegant version for my swap at team training (scroll down to the bottom of this post).

The matching treat pouch is made by folding the DSP in an origami “diaper fold”. After stamping the Love sentiment from the Outline Occasions in Black Stazon ink onto Whisper White card and colouring it with the markers, it was punched out with the Decorative Label. Another Decorative Label punched from Lucky Limeade was cut in half vertically and adhered behind the stamped version. These were secured to the pouch with a Calypso Coral Designer Printed Brad. Jelly Beans were poured into a Small Cellophane Bag and tied with Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon. A mini tag was made in the same manner as the central heart in the middle of the card but swapping Lucky Limeade card for Pool Party card. The mini tag was tied onto the Jelly Bean bag.
