Here’s a Mother’s Day card I made  for the craft fair yesterday. I think the Queen for a Day sentiment is perfect for Mother’s Day and the teeny crown from the sale-a-bration set works well with it (especially blinged up with some of our super shiny rhinestones). Don’t you just love how our sets fit together?

The easel card base was cut from Wisteria Wonder cardstock and matted direct with Elegant Eggplant card. A mat of Whisper White card was embossed with the Perfect Polka dots Embossing Folder along the top half and Flirtatious Specialty DSP adhered direct to the bottom half. Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon was wrapped around the centre join of paper and a faux bow secured to it with a Clear Rhinestone Brad. The large flower was die cut from Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant card. The small daisy was die cut from Elegant Eggplant card and Flirtatious Specialty DSP. A spikey flower was die cut from Pear Pizzazz card. Petals were curled gently around a Bone Folder and the same size flowers were adhered together direct, then to each other with dimensionals. A flower centre was die cut from Wisteria Wonder Card, covered with a Basic Rhinestone and popped up on the flower with a dimensional. Little Leaves were die cut from Pear Pizzazz card and adhered direct behind the flower before popping up on dimensionals on the card front. The sentiment was stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink onto Whisper White card and punched out with the Large Oval. Using Wisteria Wonder ink, the small crown was stamped over the top of the “Q” and Basic Rhinestones added over the top. This sentiment was adhered direct to a Scallop Oval punched from Elegant Eggplant card and popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

An insert of Whisper White card was stamped in opposite corners with Doilies in Wisteria Wonder ink. The sentiment was stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink onto Whisper White card and punched out with the Word Window. This was adhered direct to a Modern Label punched from Wisteria Wonder card and then to a strip of Elegant Eggplant card stamped with more Doilies in Elegant Eggplant card. The easel stopper bar was popped up on dimensionals on the insert.
