Sorry I didn’t get chance to blog yesterday (please forgive me Ros ). I’d been busy with a lunchtime crafting demonstration at work and needed to run a few errands last night but I’m getting caught up today (I hope!).
And I have a card to share. How sweet is this wedding set? I bought it as soon as the new mini came out but haven’t got it inky until now because I misplaced it! I was certain that I’d bought it as clear mount and so was looking for it in that cupboard … and in fact I’d bought the wood mount
Recipe
Stamp sets: Marry Me (W121929 or C122003)
Cardstock: Confetti Cream (106558), Brushed Gold (124917)
Ink: Versamark (102283)
Punches: Scallop Trim Corner (118870), Scallop Trim Border (118402)
Other: Gold EP (109131)
Tools: Heat Tool (110197)
The card base is an A6 portrait of Confetti Cream. Using Versamark ink, the wedding couple from the Marry Me set was stamped onto a mat of Confetti Cream card and heat embossed with Gold EP. The sentiment was stamped in the same way onto a small square of the same card. Brushed Gold card mats were created using the Scallop Trim Corner and Border punches and following the excellent instructions provided by Gretchen Barron on her blog here. The stamped images were adhered direct to the punched mats and then popped up on dimensionals on the card front.
