Well, my Mum loved the Mother’s Day card yesterday and I was so pleased that she recognised the work and love that went into it.
So here’s the Mother’s Day card that DH made for his Mum. He definitely likes tongue in cheek and he wanted to get our dog, Bess in on the act too
The idea and the actual creation were all down to him and I’m pleased to say that Mari liked it and saw the funny side.

On the inside, is a pic of Bess, eating a scone (try getting that pic before she wolfs it down!), matted onto Basic Black card and then the Very Vanilla insert. The sentiment and the paws were stamped in Basic Black ink.
It was a fun card and totally fits with DH’s style.
