Today’s card is another CASE from my team swaps.

Chrissi made this card with a small envelope that contains lavender on the front.

I don’t have any dried lavender for my envelope, so I decided to create a little message to go in mine and swap the Top Note die for a Labels Collection Framelit (125598). This card design would be ideal for Valentine’s when it rolls around but at this time of year I opted to make it a wedding card.

After die cutting the framelit from the card front, it was backed with Twitterpated DSP (125406) (on top of Whisper White card to give strength to the frame). The Scallop Envelope (113462) was rolled through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice folder (119976) with just the envelope flap peeking out, then this was assembled and adhered to the card front.

A mini card was stamped with sentiments and images from the Love and Laughter set (W125475 or C125477) using Riding Hood Red ink. This was tucked into the envelope which was then decorated with a punched Full Heart (119883) and Mini Heart (117193) topped with Pleated Satin Ribbon (125569) and a Basic Rhinestone (119246) respectively.
