A Silver Congratulations Card

February 6, 2013

I’m busy preparing for classes and Team Training this weekend, so my card for you today is one that I made (and gave) before Christmas but didn’t get a chance to share before.

One of the things that we do at Team Training is celebrate our team member’s promotions. (Those who want to, can follow the career plan and progress through different levels that bring different benefits, such as increased commissions and freebies but there’s no pressure to do so if you don’t want to).

One of the team qualified for Silver 1 before Christmas (which meant she got 40% off a bundle of products from the Spring catalogue – nice eh!) but couldn’t make the team meeting. This was the card I gave her to celebrate.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Melon Mambo. A Lattice (115958) was die cut from Basic Gray card and adhered direct to the front. Floral motifs from the Forever with You set (W126725 or C126727) were stamped in the corners with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Silver EP. The floral frame was stamped onto Whisper White card with Melon Mambo ink and die cut out with the Window Frames Collection framelits (129021 – these are still available as a carry over item in the Spring catalogue). This frame was popped up on dimensionals on the card front. The number 1 from the Memorable Moments set (W126680 or C126682) was stamped in Versamark onto Melon Mambo card and also heat embossed with Silver EP before punching out with the Postage Stamp (122344) and popping up with more dimensionals. Itty Bitty flowers (118309) were punched from Brushed Silver, adhered to the Lattice and finished with Basic Rhinestones (119246) to the centres.

On the Whisper White insert, a floral border and the sentiment from the Curly Cute set (W117014 or C120510) were stamped in Melon Mambo ink.

We’ll have at least one more promotion to celebrate this Sunday at the meeting so why not come along and join us.

Sara xx
