Can you believe that Mother’s Day is just a fortnight away? I thought I’d share a Sale-a-bration card for the occasion.

The base card is an A6 landscape of Island Indigo. The sentiment from Wishes Your Way (W129153 or C129156) was stamped in Island Indigo ink onto Whisper White card which was then matted onto layers of Pool Party and Tangerine Tango card. Matching Sycamore Street ribbon (130812 – FREE during Sale-a-bration) was wrapped around the matted layers before adhering direct to the front of the card. Three Pinwheels (129411) were die cut from Sycamore Street DSP (127540 – FREE during Sale-a-bration), secured through the centre with Mini Brads (122941) and popped up on dimensionals to match the ribbons.

For the inside of the card, the sentiment from Wonderful Mother (W126505 or C126507) was stamped in Island Indigo ink. Extra words from other stamps in the same set were inked direct to stamp with a marker to extend the phrase. Strips of the same DSP used for the Pinwheels were adhered across the bottom of the insert.

Of course you could easily change the sentiment inside for a birthday or other occasion
