Well today was the last day of our annual Sale-a-bration and boy has it been a great one! So many great freebies to choose from.
I’m putting my final order in at around 8pm tonight (at least the deep snow here doesn’t stop me doing that) so if you have any last minute purchases you want me to add, then please email me or give me a call on 0775 1133886 ASAP.
For today’s card I used the Quint-essential Flower stamp. If you’re quick off the mark and get in touch with me as above, then you can still get this great stamp as a freebie with a £45 purchase. If you’re a little too late then at least you can still find and purchase this direct from the main catalogue (page 110, price £7.95).
The card base was an A6 portrait of Pool Party. An Island Indigo mat was stamped in the lower right corner with the sentiment from Sassy Salutations (W126705 or C126707) in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Pool Party EP (129398). A Tea Lace doily (129399) was adhered above the sentiment and Sticky Strip was used to ruffle some Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon (125582) between the two. An In Color Designer Printed Brad (122940) was used to add a faux bow of the same ribbon before adhering the mat direct to the front of the card. The Quint-essential Flower (126790) was stamped onto Whisper White card using Island Indigo ink, punched out with the 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle (118874), then adhered direct in the centre of the doily. The same flower was stamped in Versamark ink onto Island Indigo card and heat embossed with more of the Pool Party EP. This was also punched out with the same large Scallop Circle but then the 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle (119854) was used to punch out an aperture in the centre and the 3/4″ Circle (119873) punched out the centre of the discarded piece. Both of these pieces were popped up on (slivers of) dimensionals over the original stamped flower.
Hope that you have a great (and snow-free) weekend.

Thanks Cheryl. I’m not sure what I’ll do when these colours retire, I love ’em!
