It’s my uncle’s birthday today and so I created this simple card – nice and flat for easy (and cheaper) posting through the mail.

The strips above and below the main images are designed as “tyre treads” for the car 

The card base is an A6 landscape of Basic Black matted with Brushed Silver. Versamark ink was used to stamp the sentiment from Sassy Salutations (W126705 or C126707) and the car from Need for Speed (W122715 or C122717) onto a Real Red mat and then both were heat embossed with Black EP (109133) before adhering the layer directly to the card front. Finally two strips of Basic Black card were embossed with the Houndstooth embossing folder (123134) and adhered above and below the stamped images.

For the inside, the sentiment from Bring on the Cake (W121899 or C121958) was stamped in Basic Black ink and the card stamped again in Real Red ink.
