Yesterday I shared a clean and simple card using the Flower Garden embossing folder:
Today I’m back to show how the same card can be stepped up with some ribbons and punches:
The card used most of the basic ingredients as yesterday but the sentiment wasn’t stamped directly on the card front and all the edges and corners of the Core’dinations layer were sanded in addition to the textured flowers. Basic Black Taffeta ribbon (119962) was wrapped over the left side of the card and then Real Red Stitched Grosgrain (126875) over the top of it before adhering the layers to the card front. The same sentiment words were used but this time taken from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and stamped in Basic Black onto Whisper White card before punching out with the Word Window (119857). This was then matted onto a Modern Label (119849) of Real Red and and Extra-Large Oval (119859) of Basic Black before popping the sentiment up on dimensionals on the card front.
The Whisper White insert of both versions of the card were stamped with Pleasant Poppies (W126480 or 129499) in Real Red ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
