The arrow from the Cute Clips is a great way to highlight just one item from a selection. Which got me thinking of another way to use my sentiment sets to make a masculine card. Here I’ve used it for a Father’s Day card but you could easily adapt it for a birthday, anniversary or valentine card.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Island Indigo, matted with World Spectacular DSP (126897). Words from a variety of sentiment sets were coloured direct to stamp with a Basic Gray marker and stamped onto Whisper White card (using a Stamp-a-ma-jig (101049) to put “the best” together). The sentiments included Wishes Your Way (W129153 or C129156), Teeny Tiny Sentiments (W129579 or C120024), Delightful Dozen (W122650 or C122652) and Petite Pairs (W122495 or C122497). After the words had been matted onto Cherry Cobbler card they were popped up on dimensionals on the card front. An image was punched from more of the World Spectacular DSP with a 1″ Circle (119868), adhered to a flattened Soda Pop Top (129388) and covered with Crystal Effects (101055). Rosette tails were trimmed from the same DSP, adhered behing the Bottle Top and popped up on the card front. A Hung Up Cute Clips (129389) was clipped to the front of the card to highlight the chosen word.
The Whisper White insert was trimmed with DSP to match the card front and stamped with the sentiment from Delightful Dozen.
I hope you have fun adapting this design to work with your own sentiment sets
