We have another Paper Doll birthday today. Happy Birthday Chrissi!

This was the card I made to help her celebrate her special day.

The card base is an A6 portrait of So Saffron with half the front cut away. Tangerine Tango ink was wheeled across the remaining card front using Betsy’s Blooms (126943). After using the Apothecary Accent framelit (127003) to die cut the large frame from Very Vanilla card, it was paper pierced using the matching Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (126187) and half of it adhered direct to the card front. The smaller rectangular Apothecary Accent was die cut from Summer Smooches DSP (125409) and adhered direct in the centre of the Vanilla layer. After stamping the sentiment from Petite Pairs (W122495 or C122497) onto Very Vanilla card using Tangerine Tango ink it was punched out with the Large Oval (119855). Two Itty Bitty Shapes (118309) flowers were punched from Tangerine Tango card and secured either side of the sentiment with So Saffron brads (Subtles 119738). The sentiment was matted onto a So Saffron Scallop Oval (119856) and popped up on dimensionals on the card front. Flower Trim (126869) was adhered above and below the sentiment to finish.

The inside back of the card was trimmed with more of the same Summer Smooches DSP and a Very Vanilla message panel was stamped with sentiments from Bring on the Cake (W121899 or C121958) using Tangerine Tango ink.

Hope you had a great day Chrissi!

And in case you missed yesterday’s post, it’s my own birthday in less than a week’s time and I’m having a blog candy giveaway to celebrate so why not check it out.

Sara xx
