Today I have a guest blogger – my adorable hubby! This is the lovely card that he made for my birthday yesterday. What a great split negative treatment.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black. A mat of Very Vanilla was stamped with En Francais (109521) in Basic Black ink. Mats of Basic Black and Very Vanilla were stamped with the sentiment from Bring on the Cake (W121899 or C121958) with Whisper White and Basic Black ink. Further mats were die cut using Apothecary Accents framelits (127003). All the layers were cut in half and layered alternately. A bow of Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon (122973) was adhered to the top corner with a Mini Glue Dot.

Inside, Very Vintage (117693) was wheeled across the Very Vanilla insert using Basic Black ink and the sentiment was stamped as well.

Isn’t my hubby a sweetheart! I love that he takes the time to craft a card for me.
