It’s time for our Friday feature again – a Christmas card using all occasion tools and this week the focus is a die rather than a stamp set.
The Typeset Alphabet Bigz die has been teamed with the new Coaster Board for lightweight rigidity, along with some pretty DSP.
The card base is a DL of Raspberry Ripple. A mat of Gumball Green was run through the Modern Mosaic folder (129984) top and bottom (matching the pattern up to cover the whole length). After inking just the “Merry” from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (W128547 or C122652) with Versamark ink and stamping it onto a Vellum (106584) strip, it was heat embossed with Gold EP (109129). This strip was then wrapped around the upper left corner of the Mosaic mat and then the mat adhered direct to the card front. Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (120805) was applied to Coaster Board (129392) and then Birthday Basics DSP (130145) added over the top. The letters were die cut from this sandwich using the Typeset Alphabet (127553) and then adhered direct to the card front.
On the Very Vanilla insert, the other half of the sentiment was coloured direct to stamp with the Raspberry Ripple marker and stamped.
As usual, I’ll be back some time within the next week with a non-Christmas card using the same die.
Have a great weekend.
Sara xx
