This was my fourth Stampin’ Up! convention this year and it was the fourth time I’ve organised a card candy swap. I just love ’em
Not sure what card candy is? It’s a set of card toppers, packaged together professionally in a cellophane bag with a bag topper over it. Each person in the swap group selects a stamp set to work with and I chose Mosaic Madness.
The colours were a mix of Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Gold, Tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla. A mixture of punches and dies were used to create the candy backings and ribbons, pearls, twine and brads added for a little extra embellishment.
Here are all the individual candies waiting to be bagged up.
Then each set were attached to a sheet of acetate, placed in a cello bag and a bag topper, folded and secured over the top.
They’re all ready to be peeled from the acetate, which will leave the dimensionals on the back sticky, to add straight onto a project.
I’ll be back tomorrow to share the card candy swaps that I got in return.
