Today’s card is an MDS hybrid mini Christmas card, using elements that are all included in the basic software package.
The wreath stamp from Bright Hopes was changed to Old Olive and then the Colouring Tool used to turn the “berries” Real Red. A strip of digital Cottage Wall DSP was added and then the Scallop Edge punch added above and below by flipping the image. The sentiment from Bright Hopes was added over the top of the DSP.
After cutting to size, the MDS image was matted onto a Real Red card base and a real bow of Real Red Taffeta Ribbon (119251) added to the top of the wreath with a glue dot.
The insert was stamped in real life with the sentiment from Delightful Dozen (Wood 128547 or Clear 122652) in Real Red ink onto Very Vanilla card.
A major advantage to using MDS is that I was able to print a set of six card fronts onto Very Vanilla card using my home printer. And I’ll be able to print off more and whip the cards up quick if and when I need them.
Loving MDS!
