SAB Banner Blast sneak peek

January 19, 2014

It’s already day 5 of our countdown to Sale-a-bration (starts 28 January). Sale-a-bration is our annual Stampin’ Up! party, with loads of free products. This year we’ll have THIRTEEN! different products to choose from and you’ll be able to get one free for every £45 you spend (with no limits to how many you can collect – spend £90, get 2 freebies etc). I’m showcasing a different SAB freebie every day in my countdown.

Today’s sneak peek is another swap from a Paper Dolls team mate, this time it’s Dorothy (in return for my Sale-a-bration MDS card). Dorothy used the Banner Blast stamp set which co-ordinates with the Banner punch I featured yesterday, used here as well.

The Banner Blast set contains seven different banners and three really dinky stamps (one of which also co-ordinates with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack).

A small square of Pistachio Pudding has been matted with Melon Mambo and Whisper White which was first run through the Chevron (127749) embossing folder. Different banners were stamped, covered in Versamark, heat embossed with Clear EP and then punched out with the SAB Banner Punch (featured yesterday). A further banner was punched from the centre of some Pistachio Pudding card and then a frame trimmed around the negative space (the aperture) and all the banners adhered to the front of the card. After stamping the sentiment from Sweetly Framed (a hostess exclusive in Wood 129699 or Clear 129702) in Versamark ink onto Melon Mambo card, it was heat embossed with White EP, punched out with one of the Little Labels Punch Pack (126881) and popped up on a sliver of dimensional in the centre of the punched out banner. Two knots of Melon Mambo Taffeta Ribbon (131207) were added to either end of the banner to finish.

Tomorrow’s sneak peek is an MDS card made by my hubby Laughing
