On to day 10 of our countdown to Sale-a-bration (starts 28 January). Sale-a-bration is our annual Stampin’ Up! party, with loads of free products. This year we’ll have THIRTEEN! different products to choose from and you’ll be able to get one free for every £45 you spend (with no limits to how many you can collect – spend £90, get 2 freebies etc). I’m showcasing a different SAB freebie every day in my countdown.
Today’s sneak peek is the See Ya Later stamp set. I’ve already featured the digital version of two of the four stamps in this set previously here and here but today I’ve got an honest to goodness stamped version of a third one for you.
This sentiment works great for weddings, anniversaries and possibly valentines for your other half (a bit too deep for less important valentines). I made this card using inspiration from the SUDSOL sketch challenge:
SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing OnLine) is an online community of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators dedicated to providing creative and professional information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of location (ie. it covers demos from the US, Canada, Australia, NZ and Europe). In case you missed the announcement yesterday, we’re having a blog tour on Monday 3 February where we’ll be showcasing products from the new Spring/Summer catalogue and also Sale-a-bration.
If you’re a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator you can get two weeks free membership straight away by clicking here to Join me on SUDSOL – Your 24/7 Upline!.
Not an SU! demonstrator? Not a problem, the blog tour will have tons of ideas and inspiration to share with you for free
Now back to today’s card.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Naturals White (129588). In the background is a sneak peek from the Spring/Summer catalogue and this was matted with strips of Brushed Gold (124917) and Brushed Silver (124918) card. Hearts Collection framelits (125599) were used to die cut an open heart and a small solid heart from the same Gold and Silver card. After stamping the sentiment from See Ya Later onto Whisper White card with Versamark ink (102283) and heat embossing with Silver EP (109131), it was trimmed to a banner, threaded through the open heart and popped up with dimensionals on the card front. The solid heart was popped up on another dimensional in the centre of the open heart and a Basic Rhinestone (119246) added.
Tomorrow I’ll be back with another sneak peek and another guest designer.
Have a great weekend.
Sara xx
