Friendship Preserves in Silver and Turquoise

March 27, 2014

Time for another  SUDSOL sketch challenge. This week it’s this:

Sketch233

And I’ve combined silver and turquoise for this take on it:

The card base is an A6 portrait of Tempting Turquoise. A panel of Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (133364) was wrapped around the folded edge of the card and adhered front and back with Sticky Strip. After punching a narrow strip of Silver Foil Sheet (132178) with the Scallop Edge Border (119882), it was adhered over the edge of the vellum to cover the Sticky Strip that shows through. A wider strip of the Silver Foil Sheet was run through the Big Shot in the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder (130917) and adhered to the front of the card. The sentiment from Friendship Preserves (Wood 131919 or Clear 127913) was stamped in Tempting Turquoise ink onto Whisper White card and die cut out with the Window Frames Collection framelits (129021), popped up on dimensionals onto a square of Silver Foil Sheet, then popped up on dimensionals again on the card front.

On the back of the card, another strip of Silver Foil Sheet was adhered over the edge of the vellum again to cover the Sticky Strip that shows through.

On the inside a simple border from Mosaic Madness (Wood 130246 or Clear 130249) was stamped  in Tempting Turquoise ink onto a Whisper White insert.

I love how you wrapped the vellum around to the back of the card. That vellum is stunning with the Tempting Turquoise cardstock.

Thanks Cindee. It gives it a real look of luxury doesn’t it 🙂
