SATURDAY 10 May 2014
1.30PM – 3.30PM
We’ve been running our template and technique classes for over a year now and there’s a risk that we may start repeating ourselves with either the templates or techniques (yes, there are more of both out there but not always suited to a two hour class).
We don’t want our classes to get stale and so we’re going to mix things up a little over the next few months and then ask class attendees which they prefer, or whether they like the mix.
In May instead of a template and technique, we’ll be focusing on a particular product, the Banner framelits, to make four very different style cards. You don’t need to own the product to attend the class, all supplies are provided as usual. However, if you wish to order the featured product either before the class (for delivery on the day) or afterwards when you’ve had chance to test drive it, then we’ll be happy to help.
Everyone will have the chance to make all four projects. If you’re a beginner, or just like to work more slowly, you’ll be able to finish them at home just as long as you have some adhesive.
Please note that there may be some variation to specific papers and embellishments used though overall colour schemes will remain the same.
Location: St Saviour’s Church Hall, Mortomley Lane, High Green, Sheffield
The £15.00 class fee includes:
- all materials to make one of each card (including envelopes);
- ideas for alternative stamps and embellishments;
- face-to-face instruction on the day;
- refreshments.
