Today’s card is a veritable froth of lace and ruffles 🙂

Lots of doilies, large and small, a definite ladies card this one.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Midnight Muse. Hello Doily (Wood 128610 or Clear 122847) was stamped with Versamark ink (102283) onto Whisper White card and heat embossed with Clear EP (109130). Sponge Daubers (102892) were then used to add ink from the top in Soft Sky, through Marina Mist to Midnight Muse at the bottom. After matting this stamped layer onto Soft Sky card, the bottom edge was fringed with Strawberry Slush Ruffle Stretch Trim (130023), before popping the panel up on dimensionals on the card front. Delicate Details Lace Tape (130966) was added below the panel. One of the Delicate Doilies (Wood 128541 or Clear 122592) was stamped onto Whisper White card with Midnight Muse ink and then punched out with the 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle (119854). The same image was stamped onto Whisper White card with Soft Sky ink and punched out with the 1-1/4″ Circle (119861). A sentiment from Petite Pairs (Wood 128706 or Clear 122497) was stamped over the top of this circle with Strawberry Slush ink. The two circles were adhered direct to each other and then popped up on dimensionals in the centre of the Hello Doily. Finally, an Itty Bitty flower (118309) punched from Strawberry Slush card was added below the sentiment and finished with a Basic Pearl (119247).

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Petite Pairs was stamped in Strawberry Slush ink. Another two of the Delicate Doilies were stamped in Midnight Muse and Soft Sky inks.

Now I’m off out to the theatre to see Dirty Dancing – can’t wait 🙂
