I don’t send many (any?) halloween cards out, but I do make halloween trick or treat gifts for both family and the children that call by our house on Halloween.
The Holiday Home stamp set (with matching framelits) has a Halloween theme within it (as well as Christmas and new home), so I decided to use it to make a gift tag.
Lost Lagoon card was punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper and the PL Corner to create the base tag, then a Pear Pizzazz layer was shaped for the hillside. A sentiment from the Holiday Home photopolymer set* was stamped in Early Espresso at the bottom of the hillside and the leafless tree from the same set was stamped over both tag pieces (this is a totally transparent photopolymer set so that bit’s easy). The hillside was then adhered in place. Early Espresso ink was used to stamp the shortest house onto both Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight card. The Crumb Cake version was die cut out using the matching Homemade Holiday framelits* and the windows of the Daffodil Delight version were hand cut and adhered in place over the originals. The spider and the pumpkin were stamped direct onto the house. A ghost was stamped onto Whisper White are and fussy cut out. After deciding the placement of the house, the ghost was adhered in place and bats stamped to be coming from out of the chimney, before popping the house up on dimensionals over the top. Lost Lagoon Satin Stitched Ribbon was added to the top of the tag.

This tag is a bit too fiddly for the many multiples I make for the door steppers. This one will be for family, maybe as a gift tag for this Halloween themed locket 🙂
Thanks for stopping by.
