Today’s card is frosty blues and glitzy silvers – I do tend to favour contemporary colours for my Christmas cards.
What about you? Do you like the same or are you more of a traditionalist?
My Dazzling Details are still looking bumpy in these shots, I needed to photograph before the light fell and they hadn’t dried thoroughly – they’re a lot flatter and a little more sparkly now 🙂
The card base is a Label thinlit card die cut from Pool Party. One edge was punched with the Confetti Stars and then backed with Silver Glimmer Paper. A thin strip of the same Glimmer Paper and a sliver of silver foiled All is Calm DSP were used to frame the other edge. After die cutting a label (using one of the other framelits in the thinlit set) from Whisper White card, santa’s sleigh, the tree and the snowman from the Holiday Home set, were all stamped with Island Indigo ink and the label popped up on the front of the card. The teeny snowflakes from the same Holiday Home set were stamped randomly in Pool Party ink. After stamping the sentiment in Island Indigo, it was die cut using yet another framelit from the thinlit set, shaped and popped up on a mat of Island Indigo card before adhering across the card front. Dazzling Details were used to add snowy hills to the main image and a bit of sparkle to the snowflakes.
On the other side/inside of the flip, another Whisper White Label had been die cut and was stamped with fairy lights in Island Indigo ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
