Whoops – I’m a little late posting today. I got carried away cutting card for tomorrow’s classes. Ten cards per person over the two events, that’s a lot of card 😀
Anyhoo! I thought I’d share a quick valentine’s card today.
If you’re needing to make a lot of valentine cards – perhaps for your kid’s school friends – then our new Spring/Summer catty has this super cute Hey Valentine stamp set that is just perfect.
On the other hand, if you’re like me and only need a single valentine, then you might not want to buy a set that is only about valentines.
This is one possible solution.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Cherry Cobbler matted with Very Vanilla card. Using Cherry Cobbler ink, the valentine sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments was stamped onto the card front. A square of Burlap Ribbon was frayed around the edges and adhered above the sentiment. Finally an Itty Bitty Accent heart, punched from Cherry Cobbler card was popped up on a dimensional on top of the burlap.
The Teeny Tiny Sentiments set has sentiments for 23 other occasions …
and the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack also has a star and a flower
– definitely not just for Valentine’s Day 🙂
Have a great weekend!
Hope to see some of you tomorrow at our Sale-a-bration Celebration and January Card Class.
Sara xx
