This was another of the cards that we made in our January card class. Our aim at these classes is to make simple cards (we are making six in two hours after all), that still look exceptional and professional.

We’ll have different stamp sets featuring in our February Card Class but the same principle 🙂

The card base is an A6 portrait of Lost Lagoon, matted with Blackberry Bliss. Treetops were added to the cloudy design of Sweet Dreams DSP by stamping the top of the fir tree, from the Lovely as a Tree set, using Mossy Meadow ink. Blackberry Bliss ink was used to stamp the hot air balloon basket from the Celebrate Today set*, direct onto the DSP before adhering direct to the card front. The plain balloon from the same Celebrate Today set was stamped in Crushed Curry ink onto Whisper White card, then overstamped with the matching stars in Crisp Cantaloupe ink and the Celebrate sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink. After die cutting the balloon out with the matching Balloon framelit* it was popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

A duo of sentiments from the Celebrate Today set were stamped on the Whisper White insert with Blackberry Bliss ink.
