Wednesday night was our Inspiration Meeting – a get together of our team to share ideas, create samples for a card class and also to celebrate each other’s successes. One of our Paper Dolls team had achieved her promotion to Bronze 2 and so I made her this card.

The card base is an A6 of Basic Black. Another layer of Basic Black was first dusted with the Embossing Buddy and then stamped with the Congratulations sentiment from Sassy Salutations in Versamark ink. This was covered with Pool Party Emboss Powder and heat set. The sun ray design from Kinda Eclectic was stamped in opposite corners, again with Versamark ink, this time covered with Heat and Stick Powder and heat set. Silver Glitter was poured over, tapped off and then heat set again gently to embed the glitter into the adhesive. The same process was followed in the alternate opposite corners, this time using the Gold Glitter.

On the inside, a sentiment from the Bravo photopolymer set was simply stamped with Memento Black ink.

There’s an excellent compensation plan with Stampin’ Up! with increasing perks and freebies for those who want to progress to higher levels – there’s no pressure though, for those who simply want to get a bit of a discount for themselves and a few friends
