This was our stepped up Sea Street card at our class last month.
It uses a lot of circles to produce a cute card, good for youngsters and the young at heart 🙂
We used punches but you could get a similar effect using circle dies.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Night of Navy, matted with Coastal Cabana that had been stamped repeatedly with the shoal of fish from Sea Street, also in Coastal Cabana ink. After stamping the octopus from the set in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card it was punched out with the 2-1/2″ Circle and adhered direct to the top of the card. The starfish trio was stamped in Calypso Coral onto a scrap of Whisper White card and just the solid one punched out with the 3/4″ Circle. Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler inks were used to stamp the crab and the lobster and were punched out with the 1″ Circle and the 1-1/4″ Circle respectively. The starfish and the lobster were adhered direct to the front of the card and the crab was popped up on a dimensional. Night of Navy ink was used to stamp the sentiment from Petite Pairs onto Whisper White card and after punching out with the 1-1/4″ Circle, it was adhered direct to the front of the card. A 1″ Circle was punched in some Whisper White card, the aperture centred in the back of the    1-3/4″ Circle and punched again to create a “polo”. Exactly the same was punched from Night of Navy, cut into quarters and two separate quarters adhered to opposite sides of the complete “polo”. Linen Thread was wrapped over the joins on the “polo” and then it was popped up on dimensionals over the sentiment.
On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Petite Pairs was stamped in Night of Navy. The fish and the starfish from Sea Street were stamped in Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral inks respectively.
Back now to cutting card ready for this week’s card classes 🙂

I am stumped over the polo instructions. Could you possibly show how they are made? I googled it but to no avail. Like this card a lot!
