Triple time Mixed Bunch

This was our “simply” stamped version of the Mixed Bunch card at our April Card Class. Perhaps not quite so simple?

Triple time stamping is actually a reasonably easy technique to do … however, you do need to reassemble the pieces the same way up as you stamped them. We did have one “picasso mishap”, but we’ve covered it with a few butterflies to help hide the misalignment and it still looks beautiful!

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black and reducing sizes of mat were also cut from Basic Black.  Layers of Whisper White were cut just a little smaller than card front and mats and these were temporarily adhered and stacked without the Basic Black mats. A sentiment from Flower Patch was stamped at the bottom with Memento Black ink. Using Crushed Curry ink, the solid flower from Mixed Bunch was stamped randomly, leaving a little space between for the smaller stamp. The solid flower centre from Mixed Bunch was then stamped in the spaces using Smoky Slate ink. The layers were gently pulled apart again and then adhered direct to the card front and mats, and to each other, keeping the design the right way up 🙂

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Flower Patch was stamped in Memento Black ink and the flower centres from Mixed Bunch in Smoky Slate.

We’ll be using a different trio of stamp sets in out May Card Class (Amazing Birthday, Open Sea and Perpetual Birthday) but we’ll still be making a simple stamped version of each and another version that adds some punches or framelits. Why not come along and join us!

Have a great weekend.
