One of our new stamp sets, available in the new Autumn/Winter catalogue, is this Reason for the Season set. It’s not only a great two step stamp set, allowing you to layer the image – but it can also be bought as a bundle, with the Festive Flower Builder punch, for creating larger, 3D poinsettias. We used it simply stamped for this card.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Real Red matted with Pool Party. Using the row of stars die from the Mini Treat Bag, apertures were created down the side of a Whisper White card front layer. Real Red ink was used to stamp the sentiment and the poinsettia from the Reason for the Season stamp set. Pool Party ink was used to add the leaves and the flower centre was stamped with So Saffron. This layer was popped up on the card front with a strip of the new Red Foil Sheet peeking through.

The row of stars die does create a small indentation (see far right in the pic above) but the red foil tends to capture the focus.

On the Whisper White insert, the outline poinsettia from the same Reason for the Season set was stamped in Real Red ink and the sentiment was borrowed from Embellished Ornaments.
