Here’s the second of our anniversary cards this week and this one’s a biggie! 60 years – a diamond anniversary!
Congratulations to Shirley and Don and thank you for inviting us to celebrate with you yesterday – we had a lovely time! Here’s to many more happy years together for you both.
The card base is a double gatefold of silver DSP from the Neutrals Colour stack. It was cut to the height of an A6 card x 12″ and then cut and folded following the tutorial over on Splitcoaststampers. Using Smokey Slate ink, the balloon from Celebrate Today was stamped onto Whipser White card, overstamped with the stars in Basic Gray and the Celebrate sentiment in Memento Black and then die cut out using the matching Balloon framelit. The tassel from the same set of framelits was used to die cut Silver Glimmer Paper and the tassel adhered to the base of the balloon. Little Numbers thinlits die cut the “60” from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and these was adhered to the balloon before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. Basic Rhinestones (“diamonds” 🙂 ) were added along the diagonals on the card front to finish.
On the Whisper White insert, the squiggle border and the celebrate balloon from the Sweet Stack stamp set were stamped in Smokey Slate ink.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Back soon with some more Christmas projects.
