SU’s metallic thread is so sheer, that using it for these suspended ornament cards makes the baubles look as though they’re virtually floating.

The base card is an A6 portrait of Basic Black, matted with Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP and framed with Ovals Collection ovals, die cut from Basic Black card. A length of Gold Metallic Thread was sandwiched across the Oval window as the layers were put together. Solid wide ornaments were die cut from Gold Foil using the Delicate Ornament Thinlits and sandwiched either side of the thread. Intricate ornaments were cut from Basic Black card and fancy centres and bauble toppers were cut from Gold Foil and adhered over the top.

Another version was created with a different pattern of the DSP and replacing the Gold Foil with Tangerine Tango card.
