Today’s cards are the ones hubby and I made for our parents.

The card base is an approx. A5 gatefold of Basic Black (but 12″ along the long edge to make the scoring and folding easier at 3″ and 9″), matted with Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP. Photos of hubby, Bess the dog and I were die cut with Delicate Ornament Thinlits, backed onto more ornaments cut from Basic Black card. The frames were further ornaments also cut from Basic Black card and using a Circles Collection Framelit to cut the frame in the centre. Little bauble hangers were die cut from Gold Foil to finish each ornament before popping up on dimensionals on the gatefold.

For my Mum and Dad’s insert, a verse was printed onto Whisper White card, each corner punched with the Curvy Corner Trio and then holly from the Snow Place set stamped into each corner.

Hubby’s version for his Mum and Dad used Cherry Cobbler card and Season of Cheer DSP

On his insert, he stamped Wondrous Wreath as a frame and the sentiment from Snow Place, all in Cherry Cobbler ink.
